What's Happening at Madrid Home Communities:
The Madrid Home Communities recently donated old wheelchairs and wheelchair parts to Joni and Friends Wheels for the World group.
Wheels for the World collects wheelchairs and wheelchair parts and restores them to like new condition through prison based restoration centers around the United States. The wheelchairs are then sent to those that could greatly benefit from a new chair but don’t have the resources to get one.

Hello all! First of all , on behalf of everyone here apart of the Madrid Home Community, we would like to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Your tireless support, endless dedication, and everlasting compassion for our sta and residents were evident throughout the year, and especially during the holiday season. We had a great turn out for our Fall Bake Sale and Bazaar, which helped turn our Avenue of Trees into a success! Also, we are extremely gracious for everyone that volunteered their time to help with the many activities we had planned during this time of year. From musical guests, to gift wrappers and everything in between, we appreciate every single one of you. Also, a thank you is in order for those who donated gifts for the residents. is year we were able to provide each resident at the Madrid Home, e Cedars, and Ballard Creek with 3 personalized gifts! e looks on some of the resident’s faces while opening their gifts were priceless! Another thank you goes out to all of the member churches and area schools who brought their talented choirs to serenade our residents. Chaplain Carla made sure our Christmas services were beautiful and uplifting, and the Lord did his work on the rest. Once again thank you so much for the love and support we have received over the year. We wouldn’t be able to do the things we do if it was for the supportive community around us!
Would you like to see 100% of your donation help a resident in need? When you contribute to A.C.T.S. (Assistance with Compassion To Seniors) 100% is reserved to cover the rent and services a resident can no longer pay for because they have depleted / outlived their financial resources. What peace of mind your gift brings! Thank you for considering to ACT and make a difference!
