Skilled Care

Skilled Nursing Care - 1st Floor

 Individuals who require skilled care are usually discharged from the hospital directly to the Madrid Home.  To qualify for Skilled Care, some type of specialized care is typically required prior to their discharge back home or elsewhere within Madrid Homes Communities. 

Skilled care may include one or more of the following:
  Physical Therapy
  Occupational Therapy
  Speech Therapy
  Wound Care
  Respiration Assistance
  24-hour nursing assistance

 All beds are certified for payment by Medicare or Medicaid when occupied by a program eligible resident.  A three day hospital stay is required prior to admission for Medicare eligible residents.
